CHESTERFIELD CO, SC (WBTW) – Three people are dead after a shooting in Chesterfield County.
Cpl. Lynsee Carroll, with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, said the shooting happened at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at 3021 Society Hill Road in the Cheraw area.
The three deceased are Hailey Brown, 29; a 3-year-old child, whose name is not being released; and Cordarius Foster, 27. No other information has been released at this time.
The shooting is still an active investigation, according to Sheriff James Dixon. Investigators are working with SLED on the case.
There is no threat to the community, Dixon added.
