BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Bennettsville Police say the man connected to a deadly shooting Saturday night has been captured in Pennsylvania.
Lt. Larry Turner confirms Dupri Shimir Grady has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of Lewis “Bobe Jack: Zimmerman. Grady will be taken back to South Carolina facing murder and possession of a weapon charges.
Zimmerman was shot and killed near Fletcher and Virginia Street, according to Lt. Turner, Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown said the body will be taken to MUSC in Charleston for autopsy.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges and arrests are possible.
