Horry County School District hosted its 10th annual technology fair on Wednesday.
The fair featured different technology projects from students in different grade levels as well as teachers. One of the guest speakers was “Robzilla”.
State Superintendent Molly Spearman was also in attendance.
“This is all based around STEM education, science, technology, engineering, mathematics,” Spearman said. “So, you’re showing these children how important these areas are, and letting them put their passion together.”
The fair originally started 10 years ago with only 100 students. That number has jumped to over 3,000 participants.
