The Georgetown City Fire Department is working to get a fire under control at 185 Montford Road at the Plantation Apartments near the Georgetown Airport.
Midway Fire Rescue Division Chief Mark Nugent tells News13 that his department is assisting with a multi-family dwelling structure fire off of 17 Wednesday night.
Midway Fire Rescue tweeted around 11 p.m. that there may have been at least one person trapped inside the building.

Our partners at South Strand News report that firefighters used a ladder to rescue one adult and two children from an apartment.
The fire is under control as of 11:20 p.m. according to South Strand News.
We are working to find out whether anyone was hurt and what caused the fire.
