(WFLA) – Carl’s Jr. burger chain is following the CBD trend by dishing up something special on April 20, a day embraced by marijuana enthusiasts.
The burger chain will be testing a CBD-infused cheeseburger called “Rocky Mountain High: Cheeseburger Delight.” But, you will have to go on one heck of a road trip to get one, the burger will only be available at one Carl’s Jr. location in Denver.
The Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight is served on a premium bun and has two charbroiled beef patties, Santa Fe Sauce infused with hemp-based CBD oil, pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and fries. The fries, according to Carl’s Jr. give the burger an extra crunch.
“The new Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight ties back to our core strategy of being the first to bring bold and unexpected flavors that are at the forefront of hot restaurant trends to a quick service menu,” said Patty Trevino, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing at Carl’s Jr.
The burger will sell for $4.20 and will be available at the Carl’s Jr. restaurant located at 4050 Colorado Blvd. in Denver, CO on April 20, 2019 beginning at 6:00 a.m. MT until the store closes or while supplies last.
