MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A vigil will be held Thursday night for Brittanee Drexel 10 years after her disappearance.
News13’s Sabrina Shutters is at Market Common, where family and friends will honor Drexel with a vigil and prayer at 7 p.m.
She vanished during a spring trip to Myrtle Beach in 2009 after traveling here with her friends from her hometown of Rochester, New York.
The CUE Center for Missing Persons reports that she was abducted while getting her shoes from someone staying at the Blue Water Inn.
Since then, many volunteers and law enforcement agencies from all over the state have searched for her, rewards have been offered, and events have been held, with no luck in finding her.
