MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Four people in a Florida-based gang are accused of beating a black member unconscious and tattooing a racial slur onto his neck, which they misspelled, the Miami Herald reported.
Lucian “Luke” Evans, Brandon Hayley and Mary Elizabeth Durham were charged with aggravated battery and armed robbery.
Evans was also charged with two counts of second-degree larceny, fraud with a false receipt and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Another member, Brett Singleton was reportedly involved in the incident but has not been charged.
The victim, Michael Hart, told police the trio and Singleton came to his home on the evening of Jan. 24 and shut the door. They then told him they planned to cover his gang tattoo — the “CWB” patch for Crazy White Boys — on his neck. He said Evans pulled out a knife and he and Hayley held him down while Singleton began tattooing his neck. He tried to resist and was knocked out by Hayley.
Hart said he woke up to find the message “F*** you, Niger,” like the landlocked West African nation, tattooed on his neck.
Hart said his hands were twisted and his butt hurt as though he had just been sodomized. He also saw blood, but couldn’t provide any more details about the alleged assault. His cell phone had also been stolen.
Durham, 35, was arrested for armed robbery and aggravated battery; 28-year-old Brandon Hayley was charged with two counts of aggravated battery and armed robbery and Lucian Evans. 40, was charged with aggravated battery, armed robbery, two counts of second-degree larceny, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and fraud with a false receipt.
