FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Five people are under arrest, accused of an armed robbery at Walmart. 

It happened at the Walmart on Irby Street in Florence on May 12 just before midnight, according to police.

According to a news release from the Florence Police Department, two people came into the Walmart with a gun and forced an employee to turn over money from the register. Those suspects then jumped into a get-away car that was waiting outside. Officers say they identified and obtained warrants for five suspects charged with armed robbery.

Bryant was arrested by Florence Police around 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to online booking records.

Police also say Currie was arrested in Marion County to face additional charges there. More charges could be on the way as the investigation continues.
