FLORENCE, S.C.. (WBTW) – Some Florence customers will have temporary water outages that might last up to a day due to work on water lines.

South Carolina Department of Transportation will relocate water lines along South Cashua Drive between Second Loop Road and West Palmetto Street.

Work starts Tuesday and will continue through Friday between 8:30 a.m, and 5 p.m.

This is the next phase of work associated with the SCDOT South Cashue Drive highway widening project.

Notices have been delivered door-to-door to customers who will be affected.

A water boil advisory also will be issued and distributed daily door-to-door to each home.
