MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Crews temporarily shut down Savannah’s Playground at Market Common Tuesday for a maintenance check.
Officials are inspecting the equipment and the grounds to make sure everything is in good condition a year after the playground’s opening.
The extremely popular “enabling park” is fully accessible for kids with disabilities and named after local Savannah Thompson.
The park is scheduled to re-open on Friday.
