Hemingway, SC (WBTW) – Carvers Bay Quarterback Janaz Sumpter is our Pee Dee Blitz Player of the Week for week 4. Sumpter accounted for 5 Bears touchdowns, 4 of them rushing and 1 passing score. He totaled 94 yards rushing and threw for another 104 as Carvers Bay moved to 4-1 on the season beating Andrews 47-28 in Class 2A, Regional 7 action. The Bears take on Kingstree on Friday night at home.
