FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault call where one person was stabbed yesterday in Florence.
According to a Major Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office says when deputies arrived they found a victim who had been assaulted and stabbed. What began as a verbal dispute escalated, leading to an assault. The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated but deputies have no provided the extent of their condition at this time.
Investigators later arrested two men in connection to this incident. Authorities have charged Jamael Samuel Jorden, 38, of Lancaster, TX with one count of attempted murder and Charles Jordan Jr. of Gautier, MS with assault and battery.
Jamael Jorden remains in the Florence County Detention Center on a $12,000 bond. Charles Jorden Jr. was released on a $2,500 bond.
