MARION, SC (WBTW) – Marion County officials say two brothers died in a house fire Wednesday night.
Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson says the fire occurred at 162 Dudley Road in Marion and was called into the fire crews just before 9 p.m. Wednesday. Two bodies were recovered from the home. Richardson identifies the victims as Michael Jerome McCall, 52, and Theodore McCall, 60, both of Marion.
Richardson says the two men lived in the home and it’s believed they died in the fire, as there’s no evidence of foul play in either death. The bodies were sent to the Medical University of South Carolina for autopsies.
Officials have not reported a possible cause of the fire.
