ATLANTIC BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department has arrested a man suspected of attempted murder.
Officers were called to an Atlantic Beach apartment complex, located at 612 31st Avenue, for a reported shooting Saturday night around 8:30 p.m. When they arrived, officers found a 30-year-old man who had been shot multiple times, according to Horry County Police Spokesperson Krystal Dotson.
The victim’s condition is currently unknown, but police have identified a suspect in the shooting.
Officers have arrested for 21-year-old Anadai Kalili Keel for attempted murder, according to a post on their Facebook account.
Keel has an extensive criminal history, according to online court records, with the most recent arrest occurring on Dec. 16 for armed robbery, damage to personal property, failure to stop for blue lights and resisting arrest. Keel was released about 12 hours after his arrest in December on a $9,500 bond.
