Columbia, SC (WBTW) – The Gamecock football team began spring practice this morning. Will Muschamp now in his 3rd season at the helm led USC to a 9-3 record and an Outback Bowl victory over Michigan. USC brings back wide receiver and playmaker Deebo Samuel after his season got cut short due to a broken leg. The team also has 4 quarterbacks under scholarship, led by starter Jake Bentley and Mr. Football in South Carolina and Fort Dorchester grad Dakereon Joyner. They will play their annual spring game on Saturday, March the 31st at Noon from Williams-Brice Stadium.
