Winds have eased and will allow temps to get very cold tonight, possibly at or just below freezing inland. Temperatures will rebound Monday afternoon back into the upper 50s to near 60 with plenty of sunshine along with just a few clouds. Tuesday, a cold front will progress through the Carolinas and bring with it showers Tuesday afternoon and night. Skies clear out Wednesday afternoon and the cooler temperatures arrive Wednesday night with the 30s returning. Thursday and Friday will be on the chillier side as well with highs in the mid to upper 50s despite plenty of sunshine. A few more clouds and slightly warmer temperatures arrive Saturday ahead of a system that will approach Sunday with showers and maybe a rumble of thunder.

Monday, mostly sunny and cool. Highs 60 inland, 58 beaches.

Tuesday, partly cloudy with showers late. Highs low to mid 60s.
