CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man will spend the next 10 years in jail after pleading guilty to drug charges Monday.
A press release from the office of Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson confirms Gafaskie Danyel Richardson, 44, of Myrtle Beach, pleaded guilty to trafficking and possession of drugs that included cocaine and methamphetamine.
Richardson pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The charges stemmed from an investigation by agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit that led to a search warrant being executed at Richardson’s home, according to the release. Richardson also has several prior convictions in his criminal history, including a 2001 federal conviction for cocaine distribution.
