CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Conway man was arrested Friday on multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

A press release from Wilson’s office says Laine Ormond Crawford Clark, Jr., 27, of Conway, is charged with ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree. 

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. Investigators with Homeland Security Investigations and a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted with this investigation, the release states.

Investigators state Clark possessed multiple files of child pornography. Clark was arrested Wednesday.

If convicted, Clark faces up to ten years imprisonment on each count. The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
