GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – A Georgetown man will spend the next decade in jail after his third strike in dealing drugs, according to the solicitor’s office.

Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson says that on Thursday, Olufemi Claramidele Nelson, 40, of Georgetown, pleaded guilty to third-offense distribution of heroin. Nelson was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit used a confidential informant to purchase four grams of heroin from Nelson between June 10, 2017, and June 20, 2017, in Georgetown County, according to an arrest warrant.

It was Nelson’s third or subsequent offense, adds Richardson.
