A pedestrian was hit and killed by an 18-wheeler as he was walking along I-95 in Lumberton, Saturday evening.
According to Lt. Vernon Johnson with the Lumberton Police Department, officers were called to I-95 near exit 20. When officers arrived they found a man who was hit by an 18-wheeler in the northbound lane of I-95 exit 20 off ramp.
Lt. Kim Grant with the Lumberton Police Department identified the victim as 41-year-old Darrell Keith Mcrae, of Wilmington.
