National Doughnut Day is Friday and local stores are taking part in the celebration. ]

Myrtle Beach’s Peace, Love and Little Donuts is offering free donuts and a contest to win a free dozen doughnuts every month for a year. For more information about the store’s celebration, visit the store’s Facebook page.

Krispy Kreme is giving customers one free doughnut of your choice. No purchase is necessary. The following local stores are participating: Florence, Garden City, Myrtle Beach, and North Myrtle Beach.

Dunkin Donuts is offering a free classic doughnut of your choice with a purchase of any beverage at participating locations.

Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., Bi-Lo stores and Harvey’s Supermarkets, are offering 50% off all donuts in the bakery and a chance to win donuts for a year on their Facebook page. For local locations, visit Bi-Lo’s and Harvey’s websites.

At Kwik Trip, Kwik Rewards members can get one free glazed donut.
