1 person was arrested and two others are wanted in connection to an armed robbery.
Lt. Mike Brandt, of the Florence Police Department, says one person was arrested and two others are wanted for an armed robbery that occurred at the 100 block of Kuker Street around 3:55 a.m. on Tuesday.
Three suspects held two victims at gun point outside of a residence and stole several items, according to Brandt. The suspects then forced the victims back inside the residence and stole more items before fleeing the scene.
Shaton Pringle was located by police in a vehicle nearby and identified as one of the suspects, Brandt also says. Pringle is charged with armed robbery, first degree burglary, kidnapping, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy.
Pringle was arrested and taken to the Florence County Detention Center on Tuesday around 11:45 a.m. He was released around 5 p.m. on a total bond of about $85,000, according to booking records.
Brandt also says further investigation by police led to the identification of another suspect as Anthony Farmer. Farmer has arrest warrants for armed robbery, first degree burglary, kidnapping, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy.
A third suspect remains unidentified.
Anyone with information about Farmer’s location, the identity and location of the third suspect, or the robbery should call the Florence Police Department at 843-665-3191 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
