The Conway Police Department will conduct public safety checkpoints throughout July.
Taylor Newell, the department’s Public Information Officer, says the checkpoints will be conducted on different dates, times, and locations.
“These checkpoints are put in place to deter driving under the influence and aggressive driving. They also help officers to make sure drivers have a valid license and liability insurance,” Newell also says.
