SATURDAY 2 P.M. UPDATE: Authorities have identified the person who was killed in a wreck Friday night in Horry County.
Henry Jamal Grier, 34, from the Conway area, died in the wreck, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
Fowler said he died from ‘multiple injuries’ due to the wreck.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, Fowler added. Count on News13 for updates.
SATURDAY 3:30 AM UPDATE — The driver of a 2012 Dodge Challenger sustained fatal injuries after being ejected from the vehicle according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Corporal Matt Southern.
The vehicle was traveling northbound on SC-905, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle subsequently caught fire.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
LONGS, SC (WBTW) – At least one person is dead following a late night crash in Horry County on Friday.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened at SC-905 and Irees Way in the Longs area. It happened around 10:30 p.m.
