PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WBTW) – Hundreds of golfers took to Caledonia Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon for a big fundraiser and event for the First Tee of the Coastal Carolinas.

The First Tee is a nationwide youth golf organization that promotes the game and gets kids involved in a positive way.

Golf Channel analyst and Champions Tour golfer Charlie Rymer was on hand to meet and greet the kids, take pictures, and answer questions about the game. The Fort Mill, SC native has been a staple at the yearly event and comes to the Grand Strand to visit and play multiple times throughout the year.

The PGA Superstore along with the Arthur Blank foundation wrote a check for $12,500 to the First Tee of the Coastal Carolinas to help kids participate in upcoming tournaments.
