Mullins, SC (WBTW) — Coming off of an impressive 2017 campaign head coach Jonathan King and the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles are looking for much of the same this upcoming season. The Golden Eagles return six starters on defense, including a bulk of the secondary to go along with six starters on offense and quarterback Jake Lane who threw for over 3,500 yards and 44 touchdowns as a junior in 2017. Although the team may not have graduated many players from the 2017 season the holes that were left will need to be filled in order for the Golden Eagles to make the postseason for the third straight season.
