Teams are working to fix a power outage that has impacted more than 1,000 customers in Horry County on Friday night.
According to Horry Electric Cooperative, the members are served off of a circuit at the Barefoot substation.
The impacted area identified on an online map includes a stretch of SC-90 between Mill Swamp Road and Colton Patch Road in the Star Bluff Crossroads community, a portion of Water Tower Road, and section of the Barefoot Resort community.
Horry Electric says crews have been dispatched to the area to work on repairs. There is no word on when those repairs will be complete or what caused the outage.
