LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – Police search for two suspects in connection to an auto larceny and kidnapping investigation.
According to Captain Terry W. Parker with the Lumberton Police Department, officers were called around 9 p.m. Monday night to 1414 Mimosa Street. When they arrived on scene one person stated someone stole their dark gray 2014 Ford F-150 with a 3-week-old baby in the back seat.
Police say a “be on the lookout” was issued around 9:05 p.m. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at Billy Cox grocery at 9:26 p.m. where they found the stolen truck and baby unharmed. The suspects had previously fled the scene.
