Two Conway chiropractors have been acquitted in a health care fraud conspiracy case.

Trial for John Andrew Pienkos II and Alexander Tomovski ended this week when a jury acquitted the pair, according to the U.S. Attorney General’s Office.

“We respect the jury’s verdict,” said First Assistant U.S. Attorney Lance Crick. “We also appreciate the hard work and diligent efforts of our law enforcement partners and trial team in this investigation.”

Pienkos and Tomovski practiced in Conway and were each indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud in November, said a press release from the office of United States Attorney Beth Drake.
