FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The second man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Florence was arrested early Tuesday morning.
Lt. Mike Brandt, with the Florence Police Department, says Rosune Lamarr Carelock was arrested after midnight Tuesday morning for murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, criminal conspiracy, and two failure to appear warrants.
Officers responded to 417 South Church Street around 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 1 for a shooting. Upon arriving, officers found one person wounded at the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died from injuries.
Calvin Morris Whitfield III was identified as the victim.
The first suspect, Daquan Talik Jameson, was arrested three weeks after the killing on outstanding warrants for murder and criminal conspiracy in connection with Whitfield’s death.
