A murder suspect in Robeson County turned herself into police.
Major Anthony Thompson, Chief of Detectives with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Offices, confirmed Judy Lowery turned herself in on Wednesday.
Deputies said in a Facebook post on Thursday that Lowery was wanted for first degree murder, felony conspiracy, and discharging a weapon in occupied property.
Geronimo Jones, 20, is still wanted on the same charges into connection to the case.
On Sunday around 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 5700 block of NC 211 Highway East in Lumberton in reference to several people shot, according to the post. Deputies found Nylah Vereen, 20, unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Rockeiem Young, shot in the hand and leg.
