OCONEE Co., SC (WSPA) – Residents in Oconee County tell 7News blue lights filled their Seneca streets on Wednesday night after a shooting.
This all happened at a home on Carradine Road off Shiloh Road in Seneca early Wednesday night.
The original call was for shots fired, but deputies said a 14 year old girl told them she had accidentally shot herself in the forehead.
She was flown to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, but her current condition is unknown.
“According to Captain Reed who’s over our criminal investigation division that investigation does continue and of that the Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing any further information than has already been released,” said Jimmy Watt with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.
No word yet on if charges will be filed in this case.
