Flights have been canceled at Florence Regional Airport and the airport will close as Hurricane Florence approaches South Carolina. 

Renee Lunn, the airport’s general manager, says the following flights will operate on Wednesday:

American Airlines 5007

American Airlines 4940

American Airlines 4961

American Airlines flight 4973 and American Airlines flight 5010 are canceled on Wednesday, according to Lunn.

The airport will be closed on Thursday and Friday. The airport will reopen on Saturday at 5 a.m., with the first departure being American Airlines flight 4973 around 5:30 p.m.

Lunn asks travelers to call American Airlines at 800-433-3700 or to visit American Airlines’ website to reschedule flights.
