Horry County police say conditions have become too dangerous for public safety crews to respond as Hurricane Florence moves through the area.
A tweet from the Horry County Police Department says “conditions have become too dangerous for public safety crews to respond. Responses will be slow or limited.”
Residents may still call 911 and operators will provide verbal assistance until residents can be reached. Police ask residents to only call 911 for emergencies.
