HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – A shooting in Hartsville has claimed the life of a Hartsville man, according to the coroner’s office.
Darlington County Coroner J Todd Hardee says the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening on Bell Avenue in the Hartsville city limits.
Deshaun Owens, 18, of Hartsville was pronounced dead at the scene, confirms Hardee.
An autopsy will be scheduled. This incident remains under investigation by the Darlington County Coroners Office and City of Hartsville Police Department.
