Evacuations are underway in the Pecan Grove area of Conway, according to the city’s Facebook page.
Conway Police, Fire and the U.S. Coast Guard are all assisting with the evacuations that began late Saturday morning.
The Waccamaw River in Conway is not expected to crest until Tuesday or Wednesday, at about 21 feet.
