Dillon County and The City of Dillon transported donated supplies to the fire departments all throughout Dillon County, City of Dillon and the Town of Latta.
The Latta fire department, station 2 began distributing supplies at 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Over 40 residents were seen lining up and registering to receive a case of water, towels and necessary items they may need.
The fire crews helped each resident take their supplies to their vehicle.
“All we’re doing is distributing, water buckets with cleaning supplies, and foods. This is just general things that families may need and lost in the flood,” said LT. Nic Bethea.
The Latta fire department said after 30 minutes, supplies were completely gone.
