BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects in connection with a weekend Bennettsville shooting.

An argument over a carburetor led to the arrests of two people after the victim told deputies he was shot at following the fight, reports Sheriff Charles Lemon.

Tykeem Daquan Ivery, 24, and Cherish Labelle Veiga, 32, were arrested after Saturday’s shooting.

Ivery is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and resisting arrest. Veiga is charged with disorderly conduct. Ivery was out on bond for assault & battery first degree at the time of this arrest. He is currently being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center.
