Additional charges have been filed against the suspect in burglaries in the Pawleys Plantation community. 

According to a press release from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, 17 additional charges were filed against Coleman Tudor, 32, in connection with the burglaries. Tudor now faces a total of six counts of burglary, six counts of grand larceny, six counts of looting during state of emergency, and one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. 

Tudor remains at the Georgetown County Detention Center and an investigation is ongoing, the release says. 

Tudor was arrested on Friday by officers with the GCSO Criminal Investigation Division, according to a post on the GCSO’s Facebook page. During and after Hurricane Florence, multiple homes were burglarized in the Pawleys Plantation community while residents were evacuated. Gold and silver jewelry and flatware reported stolen were recovered by officers.
