HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – A fatal crash occurred on Highway 151 in Darlington County Friday morning, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Cpl. Sonny Collins says the crash involved a moped and an SUV and occurred at 6:10 a.m. near Westover Drive in Hartsville. A Jeep and moped were both traveling south on Hwy 151 when the Jeep collided into the rear of the moped.
The moped driver died in the crash, confirms Cpl. Collins, but the victim’s name has not been released at this time.
No charges have been filed as of the time of this posting. South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
