A warming trend is underway but it will be brief as a strong cold front arrives this evening. Skies will continue to cloud over this morning and stay mostly cloudy ahead of the front. Despite the clouds, temperatures will be mild with highs in the upper 70s to near 80. A line of showers will accompany the front and move through this afternoon. Just a few showers are possible. Behind the front  tonight, skies will clear out and winds will pick up as the colder air filters in from the north. A cold and dry high pressure builds in Sunday and sticks around through the beginning of the week. Highs on Sunday wil struggle to break 60 and winds will stay elevated. Morning lows on Monday could be in the upper 30s inland.

Today: partly sunny and warmer with a chance for showers. Highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
Tonight: Clearing, breezy and turning cooler. Lows in the low to mid 40s inland, upper 40s to near 50 beaches.
Sunday: Sunny and much colder. Highs in the low 60s.
