Crews with the Florence Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Brunson Street on Wednesday evening.
Crews responded to the fire at 506 Brunson Street, Apartment A around 7:52 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a press release from the FFD. Crews arrived on scene to find fire coming from the front of the structure.
Crews had the fire under control within minutes, says the release. “After the fire was extinguished, overhaul was done to ensure all hot spots were out.”
The FFD responded three fire engine companies, a ladder company, and a command officer to the scene. Florence County EMS and Florence police also responded, and the Red Cross was called to assist the residents.
