Periods of rain tomorrow, but we will clear out for the weekend. A storm system moving along the Gulf of Mexico coast has spread clouds into the Carolinas. Rain will develop late tonight and continue through Friday. For most places, it will be a cold rain with temperatures in the 50s… however, right along the coast, temperatures could jump into the low 70s, and if that happens, heavier rain and thunderstorms are possible. This storm system will move away tomorrow night, and it will clear for the weekend, but will stay cool with high temperatures both days in the 60s. A brief warm up Monday ahead of another warm front. A more significant warm up is possible by the middle of next week.
