A severe crash had shut down multiple lanes of SC-544 in Horry County Sunday afternoon.
According to the South Carolina DOT website the crash is at SC-544 and US-17 Bypass. All lanes of SC-544 East were closed and one west bound lane was also closed as crews cleaned up the accident.
As of 6 p.m. Sunday only one lane of SC-544 East remained closed.
From a traffic camera over the area one car appears to be overturned in a ditch.
The accident happened just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating, according to their website.
