The South Carolina 15th Circuit Court Solicitor’s Office presented an award Thursday to a Georgetown man who has made an impact in hundreds of lives.
Jim Dumm has been the Executive Director at the Tara Hall Home for Boys for 40 years. On Thursday he was presented with the Justitia Est Virtus award for his years of service.
Justitia Est Virtus is Latin for “Justice is a Virtue”.
Throughout his time, Dumm has made an impact in the lives of nearly 700 boys that have come through the doors of the Tara Hall Home for Boys.
Tara Hall assists boys age six and up who have nowhere to go by providing room and board, as well as education on site.
