DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that hurt one person Monday evening.
Lt. Robert Kilgo, spokesman for the department, says someone called 911 stating a person was banging on their door in the 2000-block of Philadelphia Street.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot on a back porch. The man said he was “trying to get help,” but will not tell deputies where the shooting happened.
The man was transported to a local hospital. No word on his condition.
