The group “Support Military Spouses” made more than 2,000 Christmas care packages for “Giving  Tuesday” and the holiday season.

They will deliver them to military spouses and children at some of the bases hardest hit by recent hurricanes.

The hurricanes also destroyed care package items at the group’s facility in Longs.

They say it’s a miracle they managed to replace everything and that every penny donated helps move their mission forward.

“It shows me how much God gives, because God restored it all, and the spouses and the children are going to have beautiful gifts that came with a whole lot of love,” said Daniel Rumley, co-founder of Support Military Spouses.
