MARION, SC (WBTW) – A crash with injuries resulted in a partial road closure on 501 in Marion County Monday evening. Traffic was at a standstill in the northbound lanes earlier but is clear as of 8:35 p.m.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported a crash with injuries at 501 NB, near Reedy Creek. It was reported around 6:45 p.m.
News13’s Matt Fortin saw a dump truck partially in the roadway and multiple emergency crews when he got on scene.
Corporal Sonny Collins with Highway Patrol tells News13 a dump truck with a trailer missed its turn. Another vehicle hit the trailer.
Cpl. Collins says there are no major injuries in this crash.
