We hear the phrase “Control Their Own Destiny” a lot as the season winds down.
The New Orleans Saints do just that. If they win out the rest of the season, they’ll snatch the number one seed in the NFC.
The team doesn’t usually look past the next game, however, you have to admit it would put them in a pretty sweet spot as they enter the post-season.
On the other hand, on Monday night, the Carolina Panthers are in a must-win situation to even have a shot at making the playoffs.
This Monday night, Carolina’s backs will be against the wall. But, Drew Brees and the Saints say they are just as desperate for a win as the Panthers.
