The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a generator from a home in Mullins.
The incident was caught on camera, and shared on Facebook by Leo Phillips:
Phillips says the theft happened Sunday night around 7 p.m. at his home on Highway 76 East. He says he purchased the generator two days before Hurricane Florence.
In the video, you can see two people quickly walk up the steps to the porch, grab the generator, and walk off with it.
Marion County Sheriff Brian Wallace says it was a 9,000-watt generator that was taken.
No arrests have been reported in the case.
